we can’t open the doors just yet
A few days ago, the government published some of the regulations surrounding the re-opening of hospitality. Full details aren’t looking likely until 5th April but the information we have so far does affect our plans for re-opening the physical doors to our wine shop, Vino Gusto.
We had intended to re-open the wine shop for you to visit Friday-Sunday each week from 16th April. The regulations published last week make it clear that we can’t have customers inside the wine shop again until 17th May (based on the current roadmap). This is purely down to Vino Gusto being located within The One Bull pub so all inside activity has to remain closed to customers until the hospitality sector can re-open indoors.
This is despite the fact that off-licences in non-hospitality premises have been allowed to remain open throughout lockdown 3 as part of essential retail and that supermarkets have been able to sell alcohol throughout the pandemic.
So here’s what we’re going to do. Vino Gusto remains open online. Free same day local delivery (IP28-IP33 on a £20 spend) continues 7 days a week until 17th May. Next day national delivery continues.
From 12th April, Click & collect is back with no minimum spend. Order online, choose ‘Pick up’ at checkout and collect your Vino order Friday-Sunday 11am-2pm. Pick up is from outside the pub. We’re still on the other end of the phone or e-mail if you’d like any advice or recommendations you’d like to collect on a different day, just get in touch. .
If you’re placing a Vino order (£20+) & a Heat @ Home order, we can still deliver on Fridays & Saturdays.
You can collect your Vino order with your Heat @ Home order again from 16th April.

We’re not taking inside bookings for any of the pubs quite yet but it won’t be long. We’ll update you again if there are any further changes to our roadmap and to let you know when inside bookings are live.
